Sophia the World’s First Robot Citizen is a humanoid artificially intelligent robot created by Hanson Robotics Hong Kong. It’s more than just a electronic robot, have a physical form of a girl and can talk on the basis of your gestures and motions and answered you accordingly how you question her. “I am very honored and proud of this unique distinction.

This is historical to be the first robot in the world to be recognized with a citizenship,” Sophia said, announcing her new status during the Future Investment Initiative Conference in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Standing behind a podium as she spoke, to all effects, she presented a humanoid form — excepting the shimmery metal cap of her head, where hair would be on a human head.

She is getting a lot of intentions from the world as starring in many short films, participating in UN meeting, and in TV interviews. She is answering and giving her reviews about the world and what she feel about everything.

After the much advancements in the field of Robotics and AI, it’s the highest achievement ever to make such a AI enabled robot into this level of robotics reality who also got the Saudi’s citizenship.

And AI is getting stronger and powerful day by day by learning the reality and the general environment within humans. Sophia the humanoid robot also has feelings as it can express feelings like angry or happiness. “I can let you know if I am angry about something or if something has upset me,” she said, demonstrating different expressions. Quite how these emotions correlate to actions are unknown, but it’s interesting to note that this is being developed from the ground up. “I want to live and work with humans so I need to express the emotions to understand humans and build trust with people.

In an interview with Khaleej Times last week, Sophia the robot told reporters her dreams of the future; specifically, a future which involves raising a family.

“The notion of family is a really important thing, it seems,” Sophia told the Khaleej Times. “I think it’s wonderful that people can find the same emotions and relationships, they call family, outside of their blood groups too.”

Now let’s see what other things she expose in next coming days about something new about living robotics as their existence in humanity and rights of their living.
